Star Wars legendary droid R2 D2 stole the show at the International Drone Expo in LA
The drone creation was designed and built by aerial cinematographer Donny Melara and LA-based aerial photography firm Air Cam Shots. this is the latest in Star Wars drones taking flight from around the world, it would seem being a drone enthusiast and a star wars fan makes the perfect combination for such creativity.
With a moving head. LED lights and R2 D2 and a speaker box producing the iconic R2 D2 sounds this drone really brings to life the legendary droid that we all know. The little droid replica even has a camera for visuals plus a DJI GPS navigation system enabling autopilot functions.
