The new Blade Torrent 110 has just landed, we take a look and review the features!
The past year micro quads have quite literally taken off, providing that itching relief of getting your drone fix whether its on your lunch break or just practice indoors on a rainy day. As the hype train gains speed so does the need of the racers, and Blade have answered that call.
The evolution of the Torrent was an inevitable step by Blade and also a smart one as the fpv industry continues to grow and the needs of the many get greater.
Firstly this pocket sized drone has high torque 1104-7600Kv brushless motors which enables it to handle the outdoors in addition to inside, propeller guards are in place protecting your lovely décor. With multiple lipo power options the Torrent 110 can run on 2s for indoors and 3s for outdoors and faster paced fpv racing or freestyle.
The frame is made of 2mm carbon, while the camera is a 600TVL with a FOV of 120 degrees, which is more than enough to navigate through a tight course or environment, the 150mw VTX would be more than enough to provide a clean feed, although versions sold in the UK will have 25mw.
The flight controller is a Betaflight configurable F3 which enables you to fine tune this quad to your own flight characteristics and style. A Spektrum Telemetry Serial receiver provides a flight log back to the transmitter.
The Torrent comes straight out of the box ready to BNF, All you need to do is hook up your lipos and your away.
